AWU Victoria partnering with ADA Australia

To celebrate mental health day and the fundraising raffle that was created. AWU Members have raised $22,600 for ADA Australia.

ADA Australia provides education and awareness training designed to enable individuals to manage their own mental health and/or substance abuse issues, understand the impacts they have on themselves and others, and provide management techniques and support for these issues.

The AWU Victoria with the assistance of ADA Australia have created a member portal for all of AWU members to utilise. There are number of resources available for free such as E-Books on mental health, webinars, and information on support services. All you need is your union membership number.

Is manned by qualified and experienced support workers. This support is available to all ADA Australia clients: to company employees, contractors, casual staff, trainees, apprentices and others. It is also available free of charge to their families.
