Ballarat Goldmine employees, need their jobs protected.

CGT Ballarat Goldmine has been a large and secure employer in the Ballarat region for many years now.

The mine employs hundreds of local Ballarat people, it supports those workers and their families to live and and helps contribute to the Ballarat community.

Recently, the Australian Workers Union has become aware of an alarming number of seemingly unnecessary terminations and redundancies within the CGT goldmine.

There is also a strong belief among employees that these terminations have now led to serious safety concerns in almost all areas of the mine, putting workers safety at constant risk.

The Australian Workers Union are taking these concerns very seriously and are prepared to take whatever action is needed to protect workers safety and their jobs at Ballarat Goldmine.
