Kerrie was a highly respected and valued member of the AWU family. Working within the membership team and as the training coordinator, Kerrie had a flare for making people feel comfortable and related to anyone no matter their age. Her sudden passing has left a void in the lives of those that knew her.

Her friends describe her as

‘the most caring, loving, giving and selfless person I have ever known.’

‘She was funny and cheeky. She often made me laugh especially with the things she said.’

Kerrie had a hugely positive impact on her friends, family and those who were lucky to meet her even if only briefly. Her passion for music, most notably Adam Lambert and the colour purple were prominent features on her desk. Kerrie’s strong work ethic, sense of humour, her laughter while regaling the office with her funny stories will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Kerrie your bright smile, kindness and calming personality will always be remembered.

Adam Lambert - Light Falls Away

‘For it's always been, somewhere in between

Light falls away

And it's easy to see, hope in our dreams

Night, my friends

Tomorrow will start again

At first light’
